Convergentz completed a comprehensive BAS controls retrofit across three floors of 5 Houston Center, a premier Brookfield Properties building in downtown Houston, TX.
Project Highlights:
- Full automation of Air Handling Units (AHUs), Variable Air Volume (VAV) systems, and Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) controls
- Trane SC+ building controller installed for centralized, streamlined system management
- Trane Air-Fi® wireless control system deployed, reducing installation time and increasing flexibility
- CO₂ monitoring and control integrated to meet modern IAQ standards
- Seamless integration with the existing JLL management system for building-wide connectivity and operational continuity
This retrofit significantly upgraded the building’s HVAC infrastructure—enhancing energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and air quality while enabling real-time system control and insights.
